The temporary post currently supporting the flag at the Sonoma industrial building site was erected primarily to mount the time-lapse construction camera. The camera, operated by iBEAM Construction Cameras, snaps an image every 10 minutes. Images may be viewed from the iBEAM website individually or as a complete time-lapse video from the initial May 14th start date through present day. The camera and post will be removed when construction is complete. Crews recently installed a base for a permanent flag post near the corner of 8th Street East and Hwy. 12 to provide a long-term home for the stars and stripes.
